DISTINCTIVE BLEND
The unique taste of Procera was born from the brightness of Kenya’s Kijabe region. Home to the perfect climatic conditions that produce an enlightened and unique species of juniper berry, the Juniperus Procera. These are the juiciest berries in the world, illuminated by the equatorial sun year-round, grown in the richness of the Kenyan soil, in an elevation of over 7,000 ft. The flavor of Procera African Gin begins in that sunshine, soil and berry.

Procera comes in an unforgettable hand-blown bottle, crafted by the incredible team at Kitengela Glass 17 miles from the distillery, while the striking wood stopper is hand carved by more of Kenya’s finest artisans in Kilifi on its Indian Ocean coast. The bottle’s beauty lies in its simplicity: one piece of glass, one piece of wood, and one piece of leather, with no label to hide the artistry only time and passion can produce.

In order to properly capture the flavour of Procera, we never use dry berries unlike all other gins, instead picking them fresh a mere 44 miles from where they’ll be distilled fresh. We then use Roger’s unique distillation process, the “pillowcase method”, which steeps each of our African botanicals overnight in our Kenyan sugarcane spirit before removing all the organic matter from the pot so nothing is burned or cooked in the process as is the traditional gin method.
